Yoga found Mikaela during a time when she was in search of strength, growth, and connection. She has been a devoted student for many years and completed the 200 hour Heart of Vinyasa yoga teacher training program from Burning Spirits Yoga in 2018. Mikaela has her Masters of Arts in Social Work and works as a Medical Social Worker in the community. Yoga has influenced significant spiritual growth and has been a powerful tool of self-care and self-discovery for Mikaela. Her classes allow for an introspective focus and encourage students to feel at home in their hearts, minds, and bodies. Mikaela is passionate about sharing the yoga habit with others and creating space for the mind to be calm and the soul to be healed. Mikaela’s classes include focus on safe alignment, dynamic flow, and the opportunity to increase both physical and mental strength and flexibility. Her classes often use props and welcome all levels of yoga practitioners.
